The Moka Bialetti is a coffee machine (coffee maker) designed by Alfonso Bialetti in 1933. A symbolic product, an icon of Made in Italy, made in over one hundred million copies, sold and used all over the world.

The Moka with an Art Deco design revolutionizes the way of preparing coffee at home and allows the company, thanks also to the ambition of its son Renato, to immediately establish itself among the leading Italian coffee makers.

Alfonso Bialetti, opens in Crusinallo, Verbania, a workshop for the production of semi-finished aluminum products and driven by the entrepreneurial spirit, he transforms his workshop, Alfonso Bialetti & C. Fonderia in Conchiglia, into an atelier for the design and production of finished products , ready for the market.

Over the years the project has undergone only slight changes in shape, remaining practically unchanged over time, with the typical octagonal shape in aluminum which, patented, represents one of the distinctive and original elements of the product.

Moka Bialetti is an Italian industrial design product famous all over the world, an example of the creativity and entrepreneurship of Italian companies and its enlightened pioneers.

Present in the permanent collection of the Triennale Design Museum in Milan and the MoMA (Museum of Modern Art) in New York.
