Atollo - OLuce

table lamp (1977)

Atollo is a 1977 project by Vico Magistretti for Oluce. Over the years it became the archetype of the table lamp, winning the Compasso d'Oro ADI in 1979.

The pure geometric shapes that compose it: cylinder, cone and hemisphere give life to an essential and decorative product at the same time, revolutionary compared to the classic way of thinking about the bedside lamp or the table lamp.

Free from the historical period and the fashions of the moment is one of the icons of Italian design.

Atollo is available in three sizes and in different finishes: gold, white or black metal and opal glass.

Atollo is part of the collections of the main international museums:
MoMA Museum of Modern Art, New York 1979
Philadelphia Museum of Art, Philadelphia 1983
