‘People Made’, an exhibition on Nokia design, looks across more than 20 years of Nokia product making and explores how Nokia Design has been instrumental in changing the lives of millions of people around the world.
The exhibition charts some of Nokia´s design innovation, starting with the first mass-market digital handset, the Nokia 1011 in 1992, through Nokia’s latest game-changing products - the Nokia Lumia 800 and Lumia 900.
At People Made, Nokia’s lead designers will also offer a glimpse of a future where technology fades into the background.

The theme for World Design Capital Helsinki is about embedding design in life, which resonates deeply with us. In fact, one of our events this year is an exhibition that showcases our role in changing the way people interact with one another. It provides a unique opportunity to learn the stories behind some of our most iconic products, products that changed the world. In addition to looking at the past 20 years, the exhibition gives some insights into future trends in mobile phone design.
