Paddington Central Design Route
The London Design Festival was born in 2003 from an initiative of Sir John Sorrell and Ben Evans, building on the activity of existing London design.
The concept was to create an annual event that promoted the creativity of the city, attracting the greatest thinkers, professionals, retailers, educators to offer a celebration of design.
The first edition of the Festival was held in Bloomberg on March 25, 2003, with a huge show of support from London design organizations and institutions.
