Organized by Fiera di Genova, in partnership with Ucina, the trade association of recreational boating industry, is a perfect blend of business and updating maritime culture, sport and entertainment.
The Fiera di Genova launched the International Boat Show in January 1962 as a small exhibition (30,000 square meters) designed to target a small audience.
Since 1966 the event is organized in collaboration with UCINA Union shipyards and related marine industries. Recognized dall'IFBSO - International Federation of Boat Show Organizers - in the course of forty-nine editions has conquered the world leader with an extraordinary commodity completeness and uniqueness of its exhibition facilities: 100 000 square meters in the water and over 200 000 square meters of floor space, including pavilions and outdoor surfaces in a highly spectacular entrance to the port of Genoa.
